Job Position: Patient Account Representative
Essential Functions
- Provide excellent customer service to patients over the phone.
- Serve as primary liaison between the patient and billing department to resolve any patient complaints or billing inquires.
- Review medical claims and insurance EOB to ensure payments are posted accurately before sending patient statements.
- Post patient payments.
- Respond to patient correspondence via email or phone call.
- Position works remotely.
- Other tasks as needed as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese required.
- 1-3 years experience in a professional healthcare setting required.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent customer relations.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience in the medical billing strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of EHR software MDLand preferred.
