Job Position: Patient Account Representative

Essential Functions

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients over the phone.
  • Serve as primary liaison between the patient and billing department to resolve any patient complaints or billing inquires.
  • Review medical claims and insurance EOB to ensure payments are posted accurately before sending patient statements.
  • Post patient payments.
  • Respond to patient correspondence via email or phone call.
  • Position works remotely.
  • Other tasks as needed as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese required.
  • 1-3 years experience in a professional healthcare setting required.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent customer relations.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience in the medical billing strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of EHR software MDLand preferred.
