Essential Functions:
- Help develop and deliver comprehensive educational curricula for providers.
- Lead onboarding, orientation, and tracking ongoing competency programs for new and existing providers.
- Facilitate workshops, simulation exercises, and didactic sessions on clinical best practices.
- Develop and maintain educational materials/ policies including modules, protocols, quick-reference guides, and assessment tools.
- Partner with clinical leadership to identify learning gaps and implement targeted education interventions.
- Educate providers on value-based care (VBC) principles including quality metrics, risk stratification, cost-efficiency, and population health management.
- Promote evidence-based care pathways, chronic disease management protocols, and preventive care guidelines aligned with VBC goals.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in New York, required.
- Travelling to different divisions in NYC and beyond, required.
- BLS/ACLS certification and DEA, required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical practice experience as a PA or NP, required.
- Strong knowledge of clinical evidence-based medicine and current clinical guidelines, required.
- Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite, required.
- 1–2 years of experience in clinical education, staff training, or clinical leadership, preferred.
- Previous experience in primary care, preferred.
- Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), preferred.
