Job Overview:
The Patient and Employee Safety Clinical Coordinator serves as a pivotal coordinator within the department. This role is instrumental is driving key initiatives in process optimization, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with the Director of Patient and Employee Safety.
- Perform administrative duties, including report generation and data compilation.
- Assists leadership with departmental projects centered on program development, patient satisfaction and safety, workflow efficiency and regulatory alignment.
- Streamlines cross-functional communication, ensure information was accurately disseminated and followed up, with all inquiries resolved promptly and effectively.
- Manages high-precision data entry and record-keeping, consistently meeting departmental standards for accuracy and reliability.
- Provides flexible operational support by managing special assignments and ad hoc tasks to ensure seamless departmental workflow.
- Responsible for high volume of data organization.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- College Degree Preferred; preferably Pre-Health/Pre-Med track.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads by leveraging multiple systems, including EMR platforms and internal portals, with speed and accuracy
- Excellent teamwork abilities and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a professional, empathetic, and courteous demeanor
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and organize complex workflows in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Prior experience in a medical setting and familiarity with medical terminology are preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
