Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our team. The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing mammography screenings.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform mammography screenings in accordance with established protocols and procedures. 
  • Position patients correctly and ensure proper compression during mammogram procedures. 
  • Operate mammography equipment and perform quality assurance check to ensure image quality and accuracy. 
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for good high-quality images.
  • Educate patients about mammography procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards to minimize risks to patients and staff. 
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.  
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Chinese a plus.
