Job Overview:

The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations at a medical office with various specialties, ensuring operation efficiency in scheduling, services, team management, and promoting practice growth. We are seeking someone passionate about healthcare and patient services who is looking for a challenge to work and grow in a multi-specialty medical office alongside staff and providers.

Essential Functions:

  • Create and manage staff schedules.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Oversee practice daily operations including patient service satisfaction, billing, patient scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow to reduce wait times.
  • Lead and support a team to meet their goals.
  • Manage payroll processes including timekeeping and approvals.
  • Work closely with other specialty managers to share best practices and coordinate efforts across multiple locations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the practice complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Monitor and manage medical office supply inventory.
  • Promote and support the growth of the practice
  • Monitor practice performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in healthcare or business administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • 1+ years of experience in managerial tasks.
  • Experience working in a large medical office setting and fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems required. 
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese required.
