Job Overview:
Rendr is a highly data-driven organization, and as we move forward, we are seeking a talented professional to lead our growing team of data analysts. Our ideal candidate combines quantitative skills with a strong personal work-ethic and clear communication skills. This is a fast-paced and rapidly evolving work environment, so candidates must be self-directed and able to manage themselves and the team effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results. The ideal candidate will use their passion for analysis to use data to provide insights into all aspects of the business.
Essential Functions:
- Analyze healthcare cost and utilization data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Utilize advanced statistical and data visualization tools to present complex data in an understandable format.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
- Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various healthcare initiatives and policy changes.
- Provide accurate financial forecasts to guide budgeting and resource allocation.
- Work closely with clinical and operational teams to design and implement cost-effective care strategies without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and reducing costs.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to healthcare economics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial and operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Serve as a financial advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven recommendations and insights.
- Communicate the results of data analytics clearly, consistently, and appropriately to both internal and external stakeholders, including:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to healthcare economics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Requires 5 years of experience in working with healthcare-specific datasets (clinical data, billing and collections data, payer claims data) and code-sets (ICD, HCPCS/CPT,LOINC)
- Experience working in the healthcare industry required; experience working with health plans or payers or care management is preferred especially in Value Based Care space.
- Expertise with technologies such as SQL, Python, SAS, PowerBI, Tableau with ability to mentor other team members in these technologies is preferred.
- High Emotional Intelligence (EQ) to function within our rapidly evolving healthcare environment
- High level of organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and influence management skills
- Ability to produce understandable and actionable reports from data
