Job Overview: 

Senior Medical receptionists are responsible for providing a great first impression of Rendr by warmly welcoming patients to the practice and providing exceptional customer service throughout the visit. 

Essential Functions:  

  • Mentors/trains and may onboard previous level employees. 
  • Ensures proper preparation for patient visits to include but not limited to PA, appointment reminder calls, follow-up on doctor notes, and confirms/checks on lab results/reports.
  • Responsible for patient’s check-in, insurance verifications, phone calls, and any inquiries from patients. 
  • Assists and may sometimes lead Team Huddles. 
  • Ensures regulatory compliance with HIPAA. 
  • Responsible for ensuring information in the practice EMR software is accurate and complete.
  • Handle patient complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Other related duties as assigned by Management.  

Qualifications: 

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese required. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical receptionist or similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and physicians. 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Adaptability and flexibility able to work in different offices.
  • EMR system familiarity preferred.
