Job Type: Part-time (flexible every other Friday or every Friday from 9am – 5pm)

Job Overview:

The infusion Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients receiving intravenous (IV) therapies in a nephrology office. This role involves administering medications, monitoring patients before, during, and after infusions, and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and efficient clinical experience. The Infusion Nurse will collaborate closely with the nephrologist and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold infection control and safety standards.

Essential Functions:

• Administer IV infusions, injections, and related treatments as prescribed by the nephrologist
• Access and monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on infusion procedures and post-treatment care
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, medication handling, and disposal standards
• Ensure infusion supplies and equipment are properly stocked, maintained, and calibrated
• Other clinical related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bi-lingual in English and Chinese required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a facility
• IV therapy/ injection experience required
• Experience with EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach to patient care
