Job Overview:

The Registered Nurse in our Cardiology office will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients. Collaborating with a team, you'll contribute to the assessment, treatment, and education of individuals seeking cardiology services in our outpatient setting. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, perform, and closely monitor patients during nuclear stress tests.
• Educating patients on preventative measures and care.
• Perform routine procedures such as blood pressure measurement, vital signs, administering IV, etc.
• Interact closely with patients and their family members.
• Assessing and interpreting lab results, radiology scans, and EKGs.
• Work closely with other healthcare staff in the practice site.
• Other related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Nursing degree.
• Active Registered Nurse licensed in the state of New York.
• Additional certification specialized in Cardiology a plus.
• Bi-lingual in speaking English and Chinese required.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiology office or department preferred.
• ACLS or BLS certification required.
• Ability to assess and respond to patient needs quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems.
