Job Overview:
The Registered Nurse in our Cardiology office will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients. Collaborating with a team, you'll contribute to the assessment, treatment, and education of individuals seeking cardiology services in our outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, perform, and closely monitor patients during nuclear stress tests.
- Educating patients on preventative measures and care.
- Perform routine procedures such as blood pressure measurement, vital signs, administering IV, etc.
- Interact closely with patients and their family members.
- Assessing and interpreting lab results, radiology scans, and EKGs.
- Work closely with other healthcare staff in the practice site.
- Other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Nursing degree.
- Active Registered Nurse licensed in the state of New York.
- Additional certification specialized in Cardiology a plus.
- Bi-lingual in speaking English and Chinese required.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiology office or department preferred.
- ACLS or BLS certification required.
- Ability to assess and respond to patient needs quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems.
